Powertune allows you to adjust the power limit of the card, giving you more headroom before the GPU clock throttles under heavy load. How many of you guys use it?

Don't use it. Don't know how, why the hell I should, etc etc. Overclock my 7970s card in CF but without any other means than CCC -- 1100 MHz at the moment.

How is life BTW?

Do a couple of game runs at 0% and then set it to +20% and see if there's a difference. Powertune stops the card exceeding the power limit set for the board, so if you adjust it up then you've got more headroom before clock throttling happens (important if you overclock). 1.1GHz on stock voltage is pretty impressive! Got any pics of your rig?

Use HIS iTurbo if you want custom fan profiles and voltage control.

I'm doing good, how are you :D

First thing i did after installing my 7970's was set 1100 / 1500 and move power control slider to +20% on both cards! Ehh... who didn't?

Will give it a try and see if a notice any changes.

I'm fine. Life is good. Awaiting the winter here at the arctic circle looking forward to emigrate south in a couple of months time, so... :p

P.s. Looks like I'm getting old... How to upload pics?

Used it initially for overclocking the shiznit out of my 7970s. Later something happened. The 7970s were still overclocked to shiznit levels. Then said whatever...

I use it because i overclock my 7970. I normally just put it to +20% and leave it.

If im using stock clocks in a game that doesnt need performance then i stick it to 0%.

Certain games dont play well at max powertune overclock like BF3 but Wow doesnt complain. Im wondering if upping the voltage on the gpu would improve stability. Also noticed that my oc settings are not sticking. Sometimes clocks revert back to defaults especially after a reboot.

My settings on 7950 24/7 but I use trixx to set my powertune
