Joy stick? I "game" with the joy stick in my pants, dunno bout you sickos. Mine's a ThrustMaster actually. Oh man...I can't beleive I just did that...

Playstation DualShock via serial, take that (it is 9pin serial btw)! I can also use my old sega genesis pad if I want.

What I did was this, I jacked one of my old Genesis controllers, cut off the end that plugs in, and connected all the wires to the plugs on the dualshock controller. It was hit and miss until I finally got the wires plugged in the right combination. I set it up as a serial mous for windows (so needless to say, it's functionality is cut some). I wouldn't reccomend this at all (I got bored), it's not very pleasant. Of course, the shock doesn't work, but I'm amazed it worked in the first place.

I've not heard of a serial job, but there is a parallel interface at www.ziplabel.com it works for all known console pads.

I really Like my Sidewinder 3dPro but those arent available any more. Surely the latest generation of controller from MS is an improvement over this one since every generation of product that MS releases is an improvement over the previous one right? (echo) The Sidewinder has been great through all the wing commanders after 2 all the mechwarriors and all the privateers. I think that I should mention however that I have had 8 of them so you should be gentle and whatever you do dont drop it from above 6 inches hee hee. I love the no questions asked return policy of stores that I hate! Just tape that receipt to the box and take it back for a new one 6 months later hee hee.

Love my Logitech Wiugman Force Feedback Pro. Hell all my periphals are Logitech (wireless keyboard and treckball). It is a godsend in spacesims cause it has a short spin thumb throttle that works!(take that Microsoft) makes for exceptionally tight turns. Plus junk load of buttons. 5 on base, trigger, thumb, two on top with an eight way hat. freaggin awesome.
