PLEASE HELP WITH DVD CONFLICT

OK, I got the card installed and it's totally kick-ass. I am playing games at super high resolution and 32-bit color, and it's smooth as hell. Beautiful man, absoultely beautiful !

But I am having a problem with my DVD. Listen......

I already had a Creative Labs DVD kit, and their DVD decoder which is excellent. Now when I try to play DVD's though, my Creative setup won't work. All I get are wavey lines on the screen.

But when I try to use the Radeon's DVD playback, it works.

I know the Radeon's DVD playback is great, but I want to keep my Creative DXR3 decoder anyway, because it has an SPDIF for my Dolby Digital 5.1 speaker set-up.

I have not even tried anything yet, because I didn't know where to start.

What should I do to get my Creative DVD decoder card back to normal?

Please help!
 
You should just take out the Creative card, there's really no need for a seperate DVD decoder card anymore as the ATI's DVD quality
is every bit as good, the DVD features are probably big part of the total cost of the Radeon, so why waste them?
 
Try removing the ATI multimedia center and then watch a movie off you creative decoder card.
