Please detail any 5.7.1 upgrade issues here

All good just bringing it to y'alls attention just in case it updating constantly might possibly be putting strain on the database. Probably not but can't hurt to poke ^_^
 
Somehow can't animate my avatar (maybe i'm dumb)

Also haven't quite figured out how to post mp4-files now (maybe i'm dumb)

Still trying to get used to the new look and functionality, will take some time.

I think Dave said animated stuff only works if it's 100x100 or smaller. So try resizing it and re-upload as a different name?

this. Avatars in your profile can be 128x128, static images get auto-resized by the forum when in threads to 100x100. It breaks the gif when the forum tries to auto-resize to 100x100. So upload a gif that is max 100x100.

thx, Dave, i already figured it out, and yes, that's the tool i usually use to resize stuff.

What about the mp4-files?

...or not, it shows up and works in the preview, but not after posted, very strange
 
Posting a new message seems to be pretty slow. I get the “working” prompt for up to 15 - 30 seconds before post appears.

Also neither system specs nor add to rep anymore? *sadpanda*

On a sidenote, notifications seem to be broken, i've unchecked literally everything and still get notifications all the time.

So far I've only gotten notifications on when someone quotes me. As for rep, isn't that what the orange bars are? Every post has a like button now, gone back and liked some of the music you posted, did you get notification for those? Also thread starters get to add tags but no one has used them yet. Could make things easier to search.
