Does anyone know where the website for this card is? Can you buy it in the UK? Is it good? Is it cheap? Is it real?

WWW.Philips.com has a Global link that should take you to UK distribution.
It is a great card ... very versitile in the way you can hook up both digital and analog speaker systems.

NO REALLY!!!!

NO REALLY!!!!

There is no reference to the card what do ever on the philips web site. I used the search on the site and everything. It's not there.

I just installed the latests drivers for my acoustic edge ( and yes...it is great, beats the heck out of my old sblive xgamer 5.1). I get true dolby digital and dts.

I am in the US and I use the www.philipusa.com site. The soundcard is under computer products.

I must be black listed or something, all I get is the following:

The following URL has no forwarding URL:
http://www.philipusa.com/

Ah ha theres and s missing. Sorted.]

Found in 5 secs! Thanks. $100 hmm that sounds good. Is it?

all I need to do now is find out where I can buy one and get it shipped to the UK, cause the card just doesn't exist here!

Perhaps you could get a friend in the US to buy one for you?

Egghead was the only US company I could find that would be willing to ship to Canada, I had to email them though. They only take credit cards, they won't take money prepaid beforehand, and from my experiences with US companies and shipping (shudder), I'm willing to wait for Deals Direct to get some in. :) You'd think Canada were on the moon the prices US companies have set up for shipping, $30-$45 US for something as small as a sound card is insane, especially when it's at most $10 US to ship using USPS.

Guess I'll just wait a year, for them to turn up here. I could even apply for a job with the Philips as a asic designer in a couple of months when I graduate!!!

I know that Asus sends their stuff to Canada first before they send to the US. Kinda like a pilot project I suppose.

Anyways, that's how I got my CUSL2 a month before anyone else down there.
