Omega/Plutonium XK1.0.71b (with new OpenGL ICD, for Win2K/XP - June 1, 2002)

Is this set finally working with the R7500?

The other Plutoniums never enabled me to do anything in 3D (all games gave me either a black screen when starting or had totally corrupted in-game-graphics)!

EDIT:

Sorry, haven't seen that only OGL has changed.

I've tested tehm anyways, same probs appear (logical, huh ;-)).

Well, back to Omegadrives 2.1.71...

Since the only change (according to the readme) is using the updated OGL driver, can anyone think of any reason why you wouldn't just run the ATI patch that adds the new ICD if you already have the x31 drivers?

So... where do I dload that patch? I can't download 12megs every week...

Same prob here :( .

I just installed Omega/Plutonium XK1.0.71b and i must say it's GREAT (the first time i used an Omega/Plutionium driver,...used only Omega's before).

The new install looks very professional and smooth (hell, it looks much better then the offial ATI install;).

I do have a few questions:

Are the DirectX and OpenGL tweaks different for every series Radeon (like 7200 and 8500) or the same?

Why is anisotropic textures in OpenGL disabled (on a Radeon 7200)?
It's probably better this way,..but i'm wondering why you guys switched from 64x to 0x (not recently).

Which Radeon series card do you have? (just curious;)

Hi, I installed the newest omega drivers (b)....into a fresh install of XP Pro. When I start games like Renegade, Tribe 2, etc....it goes to a blackscreen and no picture shows until I escape back out to the desktop...thanks.....
