Some closer to "new" style:

Transport Tycoon (Deluxe)
Rise of the Triad
Doom
ATC (Air Traffic Controller)
I'm sure I'd find tons more if I actually went through my diskettes...

Loderunner!!

That's about the only game I ever played on a computer. It took a full day to play all (150 ? - that was in the late 1980's) levels.

Oh, and my other favorite was tetris -- for DOS of course, in 16 colors with the russian pictures of hockey players, rockets, etc.

Is there anywhere from which i can download the price of persia? I ud=sed to have it on an old pc but thats gone now and i really want to play it.

Contra

Even though it was a console game. I still remember playing the hell outta that one.

Oh man... Defender of the Crown. I played that on one of my bros Amiga when I was a kid :) Great game!

Sid Mier's Civilization "Build a civilization to stand the test of time"

need i say more?

that was my most fav game.. still remember the day i got it and was instantly hooked on the "just one more turn" which led to my first longest single gaming experiance on my shiny new 486 sx25 :)

for some reason, the newer incarnates of that game just don't have that same feel... the closest would be sid mier's Civilization II and sid mier's Alpha Centauri ... can't stand Activision's clone of it...

well, thats it for the nostalgia...

darn it, now i've got Yanni's Nostalgia (live from acropolis version) running through my head... how apropiate :)

What about Carrier Airwing:)
Michael Jackson's Moonwalker:)

Those are the ones i spend a lot of dough on....

Jur

Pms : finished them both though
