Official Digi Cam Pic Thread!

I'm doing my best :)

I see what you mean about the angle. Thanks for the advice, will do that next time

My son staring at the LCD ceiling at the bible museum in DC, waiting for the girls to finish bathrooming. LG V20. Fixed rotation by 2.4 degrees and downsized, but no post process otherwise.

(maybe poor) Attempt at post process "make it better", using Irfanview. Simple contrast/gamma/saturation adjustments. Removed significant blue, added modest red and green.

stopped by a park near my house that i haven't been to in years and got these shots... there have always been ducks all over this park and they have gotten used to people

Hmmm, can I know the reasoning for the B&W version of the ducks? On one hand the B&W really draws attention to the ducks vs the color but the B&W loses the details in the tan duck's plumage. You got good DOF so while making it B&W helps even more, not sure about the tradeoff. Anyways thanks for the interesting pics!

my reasoning for anything is simply "because that's how i did it"

maybe it's the fact that they kinda make me think of album covers... with the first one being the rap album and the second the 90s alt-rock album

Haha okay, since you put it that way I can definitely see that! :)

Just came back from vacation. Here's the best from my G1X.

Thought this was funny. Exaggerated post process.

was out mostly focusing on film photography but brought along a compact digital as well... was walking around an area where all kinds of trash and debris gets dumped when the river is up and found this random chair

the first one i repeated with my film camera... by laying down on the ground and saying "the things i do to take a picture"

Pretty sharp, especially the rim considering the motion. What was the shutter speed? I'm betting 1/1000 sec.

Was going through my own pictures and came across this one. For whatever reason I don't remember it as one of my better pics. I really like it.

Heidelberg, DE. November, 2019.

Ideally if I werent driving I wouldnt have had it that high and tracked the car so I could get that smooth blur you always see in car magazines.

But I hit the camera on auto cause I obviously couldnt pay attention at 80mph

Crawdaddy79 that’s a really nice shot

Logical, going to start calling you QuickDraw  Very nice

i still need to properly go through my shots from my last days off... but here's a couple plus one i took on my way home yesterday

the last one could have been just a little better if any of the following happened

1. i would actually clean my windshield instead of saying i need to
2. i would have pulled over and got out of the car to take the photo and not been too lazy
3. if i wouldn't have forgotten the spare battery i charged the night before knowing the battery in my dslr was getting low
