ok...you wanna know what makes NWO so much better then GO and CS? well, i'll tell you.
1. the graphics. these are awesome. the screens were on low res and not all the stuf was in them so don't look at the screens. look at the tech demos that is really what the game will look like. termite have really frivn to capture a good 'atmosphere' for playing in. it is very well done.
2. interaction with environment. when you shoot lights, they go out. when you shoot a brick wall, there is a very nice bullet hole decal that is on the wall and then some brick debris wall down. kinda like some dust. they have really srtiven for all the 'little' things that will make a differnce and make you feel like you are actually there.
cars, trains, buses, actually move! on one level on a highway ( there is like a tunnel) there is actuall cars and traffic. it makes you feel like you are really there with all teh trafic and cars and stuff. and, on the subway level the subway really moves too. i think that is will let you ride the subway to other parts of the map. some of these maps are quite big.
3. the levels are huge. some maps will hols alot of people to get a good game going.other levels are smaller to allow for lesser number of people.
4.netcode. the netcode is great ( unlike other games *cough GO cough*) it is said that it is really easy to host a game and get good smoothness.
4.frames per second. this DVA engine was desighned with fps in mind. the engine only renders what is on your screen at a givn time so it allows for 3-5 times more polygones then todays games ( quake3 engine games) without fps loss. so, they are really srtiving for good graphics withough fps loss.
all in all this game is looking great and i think that once it is released, go will no have a chance. with all it has to offer, i don't know why anyone would want to play another t vs ct game.
oh yeah...about the weapons.
NWO has a rank system. in order to get the big weapons like the minigun, you would have to have the highest rank! and in order to get the highest rank, you have to be l33t and get alot of kills, assists, and complete objetives. only a FEW people will be able to get the minigun.
the rank system makes sure not everyone gets a big powerful weapon ( rocket launchers, machine guns, miniguns)at the begining of the gaem. if you want the big weapons, then you must be good and get kills.
