Nvidia (again) + Intel being sued?!?

I read a series of short articles on Rambus yesterday at the Register. Basically, Rambus is no longer only going after memory product manufacturers, it is now going after chipset manufacturers.
They want royalties on anything connected to memory. Where will it end? Considering the alledged tacticts by which they obtained their patents, this is totally disgusting.
Rambus is not about technology, it is about milking the world using lawyers.
Rambus is making so many ennemies that something ought to happen. I was thinking about this and tried to figure a way to legally end it. Perhaps the industry should consider a hostile takeover of Rambus followed by a resolution to just 'forget' about the patent issues and make sure to fire *everyone* at Rambus.
That solution might prove the least expensive.
