Nice!

Once they get timeshifting as has been mentioned in some of the news articles about it, it'll start competing with my TiVO (whom seem to be on their way out after being purchased by Rovio). I dream of them implementing commercial skipping so I wouldn't have to do post-processing on every show.

The appeal of this feature has waned for me over time. To the point that I now no longer pay for any live service. On-demand is the way to go for everything but news and sports.

Fair enough, but you can't always find everything you want (at least I can't), from one specific service. You have to "bundle" services, just like with cable. Some are getting closer, but still lack one or two major networks.

I agree. There isn't a single streaming service which provides everything one could want, unless one barely consumes any media. My wife and I make use of Netflix, Hulu, and an anime aggregation streaming service (provides access to multiple streaming anime providers) in order to get our fix. Plus all the Blu-rays I buy.
