New job has me loaded on streaming devices. Questions about any of them?

Between what I already owned and now with a lot more for my job, I now have all of the following hooked to my tv or old Denon AVR (I had to get a second power strip and replace my 5-port switch with an 8-port):

Everything that can stream:
* TiVo Roamio (owned it)
* Roku 3 (owned it)
* LG Smart TV (owned it)

* Apple TV 4th gen
* Chromecast
* Amazon Firestick
* NVIDIA Shield <-- just received this yesterday

If anyone has any questions about the products, I can try to answer them.

Does the shield work like the chromecast? Is it worth the money? What makes it better than other 4k products?

The shield is a beast, the chromecast is a little booger compared to the shield and its capabilities. Not to mention it is insane fast, I was blown away the first time I watched Netflix on it. Netflix, Plex (server capable!), Kodi, whatever you can pretty much think of. Sideloading opens up more things like emulators and such.

I'm not interested in games. Chromecast seems smooth to me however it doesn't do 4k. New TVs have it integrated with 4k, what I'm asking is am I able to cast to the shield in the same way I can to the chromecast because this user experience is missing from every other device I've tried and it's by far the best method of interacting with a TV.

The shield can receive casts, I actually had to disable casting on my sons tablet since he would constantly hit that cast button and send his videos to our tv :lol:

What do you intend to cast to the shield? I am only asking since my casting use dropped as unless its a local file on my phone, the shield can usually access whatever I want to cast natively and significantly faster.
