waiting, waiting, waiting, and bugs are still not fixed, performance is still far away from what this card is capable for!

no, we don't want new drivers. bug fixes and performance gains are pure evil and none of us want to be subjected to that kind of thing...

seriously, what the %#$^ were you smoking when you created this 'poll'?

IMO the 6071's are rock solid, Other than the A VS P 2 metal texture bug. which I dont think that is even a ATI issue.

Poor texturing on Sierra's part on that one.

but all and all the 6071's for XP are the best yet from ATI.

How do you know this card performance is still far away from what it is capable ???

You people are never happy. heh, the 6071's are very stable.

give them another week or two, if no drivers come out by then, u can complain some more. ATI knows what they have to do to combat Ti4200, so they better be making newer drivers :)

Well the 6071 are by far the worst set of drivers for me. They introduced the stuttering that people were complaining about and which I didn't have until 6071. I get major texture corruption in Everquest now and long pauses when switching to and from inventory to fullscreen modes, sometimes up to 5 minutes.

Drivers still don't work OK if you have large mem cache enabled in Windows XP. They cause serious problems. The only drivers that work OK are the very first one.

Ahhh...this takes me back!

Ahhh...this takes me back!

To those days of yesterday when I would just anxiously await the next offering from ATI to see if they'd finally gotten that great set of drivers out that I've always known they've had in them for the radeons.....

Enough strolling down memory lane, time to fire up the GF3 with the shiny-new drivers nVidia put out the other day. :p

(It's not me, it's these damned nVidia cards controlling me again...they're sooo evil!)

HEH to bad no matter what drivers you install for the G3 the 8500 will whip on any G3 out with the 6052 drivers and up.

Beat a 9759 3dmark 2001SE score in 1024x768 32bit color Triple buffer.
Hmm, Come to think of it I havent ran 3dmark 2001SE since I upgraded from a XP 1600+@1800+ on a AMD 761 chipset motherboard.

Stand b for the latest bmark ;)
Why is it that in a ATI forum and a place for all us ATI card owners can go to for help and to find information, That we GET A NVIDIOT IN HERE!!!!!?

Flashing textures are also still in Soldier of Fortune II so I'm all for a new driver set. Also, this poll is quite pointless :).

Well, you'll cream the pants off me at benchies! I'm only scoring about 5800 on 3dm2kse, but that's on a PIII800@944. I'm happy with my GF3's gaming performance, that's pretty much the most important bit for me. (Although, I wouldn't be too sure your 8500 could take my GF3...it's clocked at 240/530 and will give a stock 8500 a run for it's money. :p )

Easy, 'cause I love all you guys so darned much!

<Dig gives Rage3D a big, warm, fuzzy hug!>

I vote we need(at least I do).
Why:
2 games here runs awfully
GTA3 and The Elder Scrolls:Morrowind
too slow!
like 20 fps and "little freezing" in morrowind
I hate that.
the rest is fine
HL
Q3
Mohaa
Warcraft 3
C&C Renegade
Aquanox
NFS5

runs very smooth

where have u been in the past few weeks? they had some news from ati on the main page of rage3d that the gamma problem has been fixed and drivers would be coming very soon....that was WEEKS ago and nothing!!!£*&*(%$^%
