New drivers including '98 9039's

I tried them and they were absolute crap! They lowered my Quake3:Arena fps at 1600x1200 by 50 fps!!! And, there was no control panel!! Who are the idiots who make these 'drivers'?1?
Everybody should just wait for ATI's official WHQL drivers instead of messing around with crapola 3rd-party 'drivers'!
