They updated the control panel. I notice new tab transition animation and the Bass option is blacked out on speakers.

Even on the older drivers, I'm pretty sure that bass option was only available if you were using stereo speakers (and maybe headphones). If you had speakers set to anything else, it was unavailable. It's a horrible setting anyway-- all it does is muddy up the sound and make the bass overpowering.
