This download supports and is applicable for the following models:

Sound Blaster Z (SB1500, SB1502)
Sound Blaster Zx (SB1506)

I saw these in the windows update rather than creatives own software update app

No one really use their update app. They rarely update their drivers.

According to creative site and their own software this is only for Z and Zx, while he ZxR drivers are not updated, but windows update shows new driver for my ZxR.

I don't think Creative fix anything with these drivers except getting it signed by MS. I just lost sound booting up from sleep.

I think Daniel_K released more X-Fi driver updates than Creative ever did...

Meh. Creative labs gets whoever they can get cheap to work on their driver code on contract. Nobody really knows what is going on anymore. Good luck with anything to do with them. Only Asus manages to outdo them at being more ****ed at a basic sorta common decency level.
