New AMD chipset drivers 18.10.b

Funny.

18.10.b installed on my Sabertooth 990 (series 9 chipset), while these drivers are not even meant for my mobo and infact show no options in the installer.

And now the official drivers for series 9 chipset seem to be the 17.40.

Would love to know what criteria AMD is using for these packages :nuts:

They replaced the 18.10.b with 18.10.0418.If you click on the link in the first post it was changed there also.Is not "hidden" anymore. It became official.

Yeah, as I wrote in my first sentence:

Well, since 18.10.b is quite old, they've released a new version:

18.10.0418

alongside new RAID-drivers also.

https://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows 10 - 64 -> goto "Optional Downloads".

And, chipset drivers have always been under Optional Downloads for the graphics card driver lately. :)

Just wanted to inform that, yet again, they've updated the drivers for chipset's and RAID's :)

990 chipset has had the same driver for over 3 years.
Not sure what you guys are talking about.

smbus is nothing either:
Windows thinks SMBUS as a device and require a driver for it. Therefore, we provide a null driver package, a .inf file without .sys file, to satisfy OS requirements.

This driver supports Win7 x86/64, Win8.1x64 & Win10 x86/64

The raid driver is 6 years old.

DriverVer=12/10/2012, 3.3.1540.40

My AMD RAID driver is dated 4.10.18 now, with version 9.2.0.23.

Don't use AHCI so can't talk about that.
