So I had another misadventure with my engineering truck Tuesday. 2004 F350 quad with a steel flatbed. Was up at a tower site on a dark foggy night. The site already had a too small footprint, making turning around to go back down a little hair raising (about a 20 point turn with the truck lol). They're resolving some erosion issues, and had an excavator parked up there. So I had to back down the road about 1/2 mile with a sheer drop off on the driver's side, and couldn't see the road at all. Fortunately I could see the wall on the passenger side, so hugged it all the way down. Balder and grayer.
So, I want better lights. The backing up lights did zilch, so want something I can mount to the top rail of the bed, that is against the cab of the truck. Either solid mount facing backward, or maybe there is a better solution. And more lights forward. I get in pretty remote areas, and just need better visibility all around. Any suggestions?
