my 9800 pro failed

Did just the fan die? Or is the card itself fried?

If it's just the fan, shop for a small CPU fan than will fit it and do yourself a little modding.
 
As long as its not fried you can replace the fan. Heck I bet that I have on laying around; I always put the zalman kits on mine.
