Monitors Opinions?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking at getting a 19" monitor that can display 1600x?? resolution with no problems. So I'm just looking for some feedback..

During this time, i've been trying to read some reviews and the selections are just so vast!

From what I can see, I think a decent 19" goes for around CDN$800+. From what I've been reading, it seems that the Hitachi's (.22dp) have one of the best image quality around. Any opinions on this? Any 19" Hitachi owners out there?

On the other hand, I'm questioning if its worthwhile paying the 800+ for a hitachi or just get a cheaper viewsonic with flat screen??

JustRoaming,
I have the Hitaci SuperScan 776 and I don't think you can beat it. High res, sharp images and fonts, vivid colors, etc., etc., etc. I very pleased with it.

I'm just doing some more reading up now...would like to make a decision soon.

Funny thing..the more I read, the more I second guess myself! Info. overload or what.

I'm in Toronto, Canada by the way..so if anyone knows of a place for great deals, do let me know... ;-)
