Mad Max game is coming this September. Developed by Avalanche Studios (Just Cause). Coming to SteamOS, PS4 and Xbox One also. Last gen versions have been cancelled.

About the game:
  • Become the legendary lone warrior as you craft and upgrade his equipment and weapons in order to survive in a brutal post-apocalyptic world o Fight with savage moves and combos to brutalize the deranged bandits of the Wasteland
  • Engage in dynamic, physics-based vehicular combat, taking down enemy vehicles with a slew of deadly weapons and customizable parts o Choose from different car bodies and construct the ultimate war vehicle with dozens of upgrade combinations
  • Explore an immense post-apocalyptic open world full of unique missions and side quests
  • Scavenge every scrap you can find to build upgrades for your equipment and vehicles
  • Take down eccentric bandits & gangs that roam the Wasteland

Looks the melee combat is heavily inspired by the batman.
 
I hope they dont show how his family dies! Also.... that p[art where he eats flesh from a corpse... thats not survival, that would just straight up kill him...
 
I've been wanting a game like this since Outlander on Sega Genesis.

Will definitely be getting Mad Max. Kind of afraid to pre-order it though.....every time I've ever pre-ordered a game, I get burned one way or another. Either the game sucks, gets big-time delays, or cancelled for the system I pre-ordered it for. But this is the first game for PS4 that makes me go "Ooh, ooh, ooh!", so I think I'll risk a pre-order.
