No official launch date though
Shared memory access so someone can jack into it with a rainmeter plugin plz

Maybe I can finally be rid of shitty ass MSI Afterburner. Until then I'll have to roll with what I got.

We do a big one every year, and it's packed with new stuff. Last year it was ReLive etc. We have some cool stuff for this year as well :)

tell the driver to team to fix all of vegas broken features first lol

that being said it looks like a nice feature

The webpage media freezing/stuttering issue is still hitting a lot of people, me included. No DDU application or chipset/driver fresh installs are helping. Hope bug fixes are prioritized for the next update.

Like DSBR, primitive shaders, packed math to mention a few. Not bitching but maybe the team should concentrate on delivering the main arch features Raja has trumpeted so much about and we Vega owners have paid good money for and haven't got. I think that should be their priority TBH. Not to mention idle fan speed at desktop and better power/thermals. Every thing else is nice to have these are essentials.

Maybe that stuff is borked in the Vega silicone? Weird they haven't gotten around enabling it. AFAIK the culprit for the delay was drivers.

Hope not otherwise AMD will be in major trouble. Firstly the misrepresentation of goods act would apply which can be both a civil and criminal prosecution and the flood of RMA's could amount to financial armageddon for AMD. Plus I'm sure in the USA the SEC would be very interested as that would amount to market manipulation which is definitely a criminal offence.

That's not even taking into account class action law suits by owners and stock holders and as AMD has just settled a class action law suit from stock holders over their CPU's for $75m I don't think they want another one. I think the driver team might be under a lot of pressure ATM

Now with thread ripper up and running and windows seeing seeing all 4 cards and reporting them as working properly, a method within the drivers to not automatically default to 4 way crossfire and allows the user to start with 2 way, then gradually have a setting In the control panel to allow 3 and 4 way to happen, would be nice.

Don't know if it's because the thread ripper platform is so new, or I didn't have all the windows 10 updates installed yet when I tried to enable crossfire ( my bad ) , but going from the default no crossfire to 4 way directly, did hose the windows 10 install.......Had to format and re install the O/S..:bleh:

Still have more windows updates ( I think ), but the current WHQL 17.1 1 radeon driver package does see all 4 cards, just that Crossfire still isn't enabled.......Not trying until the absolute latest beta drivers are installed and all windows patches really are installed.

Now that the last few days have been going extremely well with the latest beta drivers, and as a precaution before enabling crossfire I did a full system image of C:/ drive including all the installed programs, which thankfully wasn't needed but I'll still keep it stored and even refresh it as new windows updates and programs get installed, it would still be nice if one's heart didn't skip a beat each time that Crossfire option is enabled, with said user having 4 cards installed in their system, and the driver control panel merges all 4 separate cards into one......

I know I may be the only user with such a setup, but what I mentioned above about gradually enabling the amount of cards would be nice.
