So the subwoofer died on my Logitech X-530 set after 15 years of going to pound town.

Need some new hawtness but don't wanna spend over 100 bux. Not an audiophile, will run with onboard from mobo so what do?

i'd say the logitech z623 would fit the bill, but they're a tick over 100 bucks. Maybe the Trust GXT 629 Tytan 2.1. Should be around 70-80 bucks. Or the Z409, they should be around the same price. Can't tell for the states obviously

A touch over aint too bad but I don't wanna be dropping more than 20 bucks over.

Those Z623 seem legit.

Why not Klipsh Promedia 2.1? It's often on sale for $79 lately, check slickdeals.

Holy crap, those are still around?!? Had one of those 8-9 years ago, loved it.

OTOH, if you shopped around and checked out ebay and some pawn shops, you might could get an older hdmi receiver with some low end bookshelfs and a cheap sub (like the polk psw10), but then you're probably still spending $150 or so. That's what I did when my promedias died, and I got louder (better?) sound.

I WAS going to recommend the Logitech Z333 on the lower-end, price-wise, I got a set for my office in 2017 and have really been impressed with the bang for the buck. But I just looked them up on Amazon and they are now $70. I paid $40. Good grief. At that price I'd go with the Promeidia set.
