Jedi Knight II Help. Level 1 Question

Ive been wandering around everywhere. Im at the part with the 3 catwalks at the end, with that middle thing and everytime you press use it says Offline. Theres then a red and green doors I believe with little turrets in them. But those doors are red and I cant go in them. Also below is that red forcefield with 2 stormtroopers behind it. How do you get past all this? I feel Ive done everything. Gamefaqs.com could not help. Thanks.
 
As you walked through the green a blue areas you should have seen some symbols on the walls (if you hit tab they will show up in the objectives). Try to match the colors and patterns on the middle console thingy. Also make sure you have the button that was protected by energy barrier pressed as well. Hope this helps. I'm on Narr Shaddar now and the snipers are driving me up the wall. The sheer # of them is staggering:eek:
 
how do I ever get through that energy barrier thing? And why does everything in the mdidle say its offline?

The game isnt THAT hard. Its just matter of being patient. If you cant solve the puzzle, rest and come back later. I am sure you will find it then ;)
