I like it. It's still very very early (late 2008 is projected release date) and for now they're just focusing on translating the basics of JA2 features into new engine, so graphics upgrades and gameplay changes/additions will come later, but still, it looks very nice (not that advanced graphicaly, but JA2 was also butt ugly so I don't carre)
It simply looks like Jagged Alliance, a true JA, only in 3D. They even got the colors right :drool: .

Can't wait for this. It's obvious Strategy First cares a lot about it (otherwise they wouldn't throw away all the work on JA3D), plus the game is not only based on Sir Tech's own design docs for JA3, but they also got original Sir Tech people working as advisors on this.:heart:
 
I saw it and it looked decent enough. The cool part was when they pretty much destroyed the whole building. The part I thought was really iffy was the way the everything was animated. Looked really stiff.

Hopefully they'll put in the detail of that really awesome JA2 mod I've been playing with.

oh and god those character portraits are god awful. They also aren't really true to the original portraits either from what I remember. Shadow is definitely not as wrinkly as depicted here and I'm pretty sure scope had blond hair.

Screenshots look nice though, aside from portraits, which are ugly and wrong. Well, Malice is supposed to be ugly, but not that way. :nuts: It looks like they are using large AP pool instead of 20ish AP pool of JA2, and I like that change.
 
necroing this thread because currently I'm playing the actual Jagged Alliance 3 game and it's pretty good although the lack of proper tutorial make the learning curve pretty steep.
 
I tried the demo of this and just couldn't get into it, great new game and they still don't give us proper full camera and zoom control. I instead installed JA2:Wildfire. Wildfire is pretty hardcore and difficult but the same old core awesomeness that is JA2.
