Input skipped on TV

My Sharp Aquos LED TV has been doing this thing lately where when I go to select input, the 3rd hdmi input is not selectable and says "input skipped". I've unplugged the TV for a few minutes and it still won't go away. What's the deal?

Most annoying feature on a TV:lol: I have ran into this so many times on customer's TV's. What makes it worse is most customers don't even have their remote for the TV itself anymore so I have to use the buttons on the TV to get the Input active, and then even some TV's even the newest ones don't have a farkin Menu button on the TV :nuts:
