Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Game looks great and runs great so far. Running native 4K with Supreme graphics preset and have a locked 60FPS (I intentionally have it limited). This is with a 7900XTX and 5800X3D.
Don't forget, you can stack AFMF2 for a FrameGen boost if needed/wanted.

If the Radeon 8800xt performs in ray tracing at the level of a 4080 super, that will be a disappointment. But either way, IGN compared this game with Escape From Butcher Bay. Quite high praise!

Depends on the price some have said the 8800xt would be in the 400-500$ usd range. Even a used 4080 would be 2x that. Course remains to be seen what Nvidia does with the 5000 gen but no one expects a price cut there...

32:9 support unfortunately improperly frames cut scenes to -vert. So I'll wait for patching before giving it a go :)

Waiting for the sale to pick this one up... Plus I have dozens of games to get thru in the meanwhile.

There is terrible shimmering on certain textures with DLSS and any sub-setting incl. DLAA. No shimmering with TAA. Initially I thought it was film grain, but turning that to off made no difference. This persists after patch 1.xx and latest drivers.

Game runs really well for me with my paltry 6700xt and 3600 cpu. No path tracing, obviously, I think it is max everything except textures (vram limit), and a few stupid things turned off (motion blur, film grain). Only had one spot that was a bit rough on the framerate so far, but everywhere else is pretty slick. Visually it is quite good looking for the performance too, with special attention going to the faces, foliage, tombs, lighting. Kinda interesting this game has actual shadows from torches and STALKER 2 does not. Lots of very nice touches visually, for example Indy's face gets flushed when he's in the snow.

Game is also great to play. Story feels like it belongs in between the original trilogy, and almost seems like 3 movies in one due to the world-hopping. There is a bit less gunplay action than I expected, so it's more stealth, fisticuffs and puzzles. I'm okay with this but I think there would be some who might find it boring, maybe. I'm doing all of the mysteries, and most have been great, but I'm not bothering to do the artifact hunts stuff.

Is it just me or does this Indiana Jones look more like Bob Saget than Harrison Ford.

It's not like Indiana Jones pulled out a gun very often.

Yeah i mean I don't mind low action myself. It makes sense, but I also thought they'd have a lot more for the modern audiences. (and also somewhat because of their wolfenstein games)

Played and finished. Was fun story, some of the gameplay elements and 'stealth' were comical with your sidekick walking out in the open and no one notices her but if you as much as look in the wrong direct you get spotted. Some of the fighting also was painful having to hit x amount of times to trigger the next stage.

Looked very nice and ran very well now with my updated GPU.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle – Update 3 said:
Update 3 is now available!
Calling all adventurers: Update 3 is now LIVE! Read on for the full patch notes:

New Features

NVIDIA DLSS 4

Update 3 brings support for NVIDIA DLSS 4: a suite of rendering technologies that boosts framerates, increases performance, and improves image quality!
  • Players using supported NVIDIA hardware can enable Multi Frame Generation (3x, 4x) using the new transformer-based model
  • Ray Reconstruction increases the clarity and stability of ray-traced images
  • DLAA and DLSS Super Resolution have also been updated to the transformer-based model. These options when enabled enhance native and upscaled image quality, respectively

Ray-Traced Local Lights

For players who have Path Tracing enabled, this update includes a new option for ray-traced shadows to include all light sources, which significantly increases the quality of shadows in interior locations. (Players can also choose to keep the previous setting, which provides ray-traced shadows from the sun only.)

Path Tracing (Full Ray Tracing) Support for AMD and Intel Graphics Cards

This update brings Path Tracing to supported Intel and AMD GPUs. To use Path Tracing, your Intel or AMD graphics card must support Hardware Ray Tracing and have at least 16GB of VRAM. Please make sure to download the latest drivers from your GPU manufacturer!
Note that in foliage-dense locations, such as Sukhothai, reducing Vegetation Animation Quality below the “Ultra” settings can reduce the occasional shadow “popping” that may be seen on all graphics cards using Path Tracing.

FSR 3.1, including Frame Generation

Update 3 adds support for AMD FSR 3.1 upscaling and frame generation technology.

Intel XESS 1.4

Update 3 also adds support for Intel XESS 1.4 upscaling.

Quality of Life Updates

  • Repair kits can now also be used by selecting them directly from the inventory (Rather than only by selecting your broken weapon or tool!)
