I bought the AIW Radeon to transfer some home videos to MPEG2 and also have a decent 3d card. From day one I have had nothing but trouble and instability from the TV/ VCR half of the card. The 3d performance has been respectable and fairly stable in most games. I started with Win 2000 and was unable to record video without a hard lockup. So I got real fed up and formatted the hard drive back to Windows ME. I reinstalled drivers for the system and still ended up with the same problems as Windows 2000. They were both clean installs of Win2k and Win ME. Finally I narrowed it down to what was common between both operating systems. The Intel Ultra ATA hard drive driver version 6.03. I had loaded this driver in both Win2k and had loaded it with Win ME. So I reformatted again with Win 2000 and this time no Intel drivers and the card has worked flawlessly and much more stable on video capture. So if there is any ATI tech people on this board, I think you have compatibility problem with Intel's ULTRA ATA 6.03 driver. I had loaded this driver because I am using Aopen AX3S Pro - Intel 815 chipset motherboard and was under the impression it gives better performance for Ultra ATA 100 hard drives. Let me know if this helps anyone else and Good luck.
