I just enrolled for my final semester of college...

At 38 years old I decided to return back to school. 3.5 years later and I just submitted my enrollment for my final 4 classes in the fall.

It feels like it has been forever and I can't wait to be done.
 
Well done!

I completed my IT Degree when I was 35 about. Was a struggle to work, and then wife, kids etc and study. Was so happy to complete that...
 
Congrats! It's never too late to go to school.

I was a late college enrollee too and graduated in 2017 at 35. It was one of the best experiences of my life and a huge morale booster. Studied my ass off and got accepted into a limited access program (Communication Science and Disorders). After a year and half decided I didn't want that career and switched to Geographic Information Systems instead. Opened a lot of opportunities for me.

I know people are wishing me luck, but I am almost done. I have a 3.9xx GPA and as of last semester was in the top 7.5% of my class.

But I do appreciate the kind words. I am just more or less excited to be nearing the finish line.

btw, I finished my masters over 10 years ago, and I still get that reoccuring dream that I've forgotten to attend most of my classes for the whole semester and now I'm going to fail. Funny thing, I never got that dream while I was in school... just whenever I'm out of school.

Another funny thing is, my dream usually revolves around failing high school classes. Sometimes I'm doing well in one class, but failing all my others, and I'm calculating how many more semesters it will take for me to graduate if I just pass one class per semester. Often I have a realization part way through the dream that I probably don't actually need to finish this math or english class anyway, since I've already got a masters degree and nobody's going to check my high school transcripts. But then I often get this feeling that I should still finish these classes just for closure?

That’s a tight GPA. I finished my MBA as second place as well. :).
