How's Catalyst 5.2 Been Treating You?

Hi,

I was just wondering, for those you've installed the latest update in their mobility card, what were the results? Good update or better keep away?

I installed them and ran the Counter-Strike Source Stress Test and got 11fps lower than I did with the Omega 5.1's.

So I removed them straight away.
 
Lower FPS in CS:Source is normal.Because previous drivers(Specially released with the HL2) is optimized for Source Engine.Systems installed with those drivers , there was fps decrease on other games.Now ATI is programming drivers according to compability problems,general gaming performance.So try Cat. 5.2 on other games.For example FarCry , it gives better fps
 
In americas army using 5.2's and 5.1 with my radeon 9700 pro, i get pink textures on some objects if I put some bullet holes in them...the more holes i put in an object the more pink it becomes until it turns bright red! went back to 4.12's. Anyone else see similar problems?
 
I don't know if this is possible or not, or is currently being worked on, but I've been trying to get the 5.x series of Catalyst drivers on my Mobile ATI chipset.

I know of 3 mods that do that, but which one should I be using for the 5.x Catalyst series of drivers?
