How to make progs for AOL?

hi guys, id like to know how to make progs for aol. I really want to make a download manager prog. the problem is, how do i make a program that can push buttons in AOL? And would i use VB or VC++? Thanks all.

What do you want this prog to do and WHY aol?

Do you have any knowledge in VB or C++ . . I think you ment C++ when you said VC++ ??

I just got rid of AOL, I'm on cable now. It's definately the way to go.

I am on cable, you can sign onto AOL using the TCP/IP settings. I hardly use AOL, only for certain things like getting anime.
