How to make Chrome search with Google.com instead of Google.ae?

My default search engine in Chrome is Google but it defaults to www.google.ae instead of www.google.com. Previously, I would click on the Google.com link at the bottom after getting search results from Google.ae. After a while, it would ask me if I would like to use Google.com instead and I would click "Yes". Then Google.com would be my default search engine. Now, after clearing all of my history/cache, Google.ae is my default again but this time it is not asking me if I would like to make Google.com my default. So my question is how do I make Google.com my default?

I think google is trying to be clever...if you clean all your cookies and don't sign into any google services does it stay with .com?

Even in Incognito mode, if I enter www.google.com it directs me to www.google.ae.

Cleaning everything in the history and cookies results in www.google.ae. Before, I kept switching to www.google.com after getting results in www.google.ae. It would ask me after some time if I wanted to stick with www.google.com but now it doesn't.

hrmm, never noticed before but everytime I goto search on google it always returns.co.uk, (probably because I tend to use bing as I like the pretty search page!)

interestingly if I search from google.ae or .ca or something else it stays on that domain

I'm sure someone here must know of a workaround without using a proxy

also, nice choice of fans ;) I worked in a parts shop when they first come out, we couldn't get over how quiet they are

Thanks. Hopefully someone else will be able to chime-in.

As for the fans, I agree. :)

I have them running at full-speed all the time while connected to the H100 and they are quite quiet (much quieter than the stock H100 fans).
