Horizon Zero Dawn

Just finished the main game, appears to be well below what I should have been, started final battle at 29, ended up at 30 during it and just barely survived. Suggested level is 34 for it. I guess it's onto the Frozen Wild boners! Anyone know if the PS5 version of the New Horizen will allow keyboard and mouse? If not, I'm going to skip it as this game is a total mouse and keyboard game.

I don't think so, but I would not be surprised if it had gyro aiming.

I only played on my PS4 and never had an issue with the controller. :hmm:
Controller works fine for this game.

Point is m&k/b is so much better. Pretty much any game where you have to aim and shoot something using a reticule it will be better than controller.

Works fine for running around while precision aims sucks balls. Much more enjoyable with keyboard and mouse.

Finished the game. What a great game, one I was kinda sad to see end. Loved just running around, killing things, scavenging, etc.

The mounts could've been more responsive, but I didn't use them much.

Now back to finish Witcher 3.

Horizon Zero Dawn PC Update 1.11.2 Release Notes

Improved VRAM management when changing resolution or upscale mode, which could cause performance issues that were only fixed by restarting the game
Fixed various assets using the wrong quality level while using DLSS/FSR
Fixed visual artifact issue when clipping the camera through a surface like pushing against a wall (ie with large FOVs or ultrawide screens) while using DLSS/FSR
Fixed visual corruption and reduced foliage flickering issues on certain AMD GPUs

An entire PS5 is 1/2 the cost of latest video cards. Just don’t be so stubborn. If you can afford it get both and play whatever you want when they come out. If you can’t afford both maybe it’s time to embrace a console as the bitcoin miners have destroyed video card pricing forever. It’s sad but the truth.

Forbidden West is on Playstation 4, too. So if you're desperate enough, it's easily accessed. More difficult to get a PS5, and I think no PC gamer has any right to expect a flagship Sony title to be released on Steam any time soon. I'm more than happy with the "wait a few years" strategy that's in place now.

2025. This game is a system seller and Microsoft killer.
A year pulled from your posterior. It's highly unlikely it will be that far out, especially since Sony is stepping up their PC releases. If the GeForce Now leak is accurate it will release 1 year after PS5/4, which is far more believable.
