IM in need of desperate help...

Heres what im trying to do:

I wanna have a duel boot sys, so right now i have win98se running off of one HD. The 2nd HD has win2000 on it. the prob is that...

during the setup process of win2k im at the point wheres its doing the formatation of the HD(just after i picked NTFS/FAT32). I ran into a prob where after its done foramtting and to continue on to setup, it says it cant not format properly cause of disk error. NOW, im just wondering what caused this....AND how can i remove win2k from that HD to start over again. I mean i cant even reformat it. WIN98 dosent detect it, cause it shouldnt... right?!? What do i do next to get rid of it. Once i do that, should i do a proper scandisk, format through win98 before i reinstall win2k.

thanx...... :)

If you didn't fix it already. If your bios can boot from the CD instead of HD then boot from Win200 CD and it gives you the option to uninstall..

YO!

I had the prob fixed aleady :D

Thanx for the reply though, but seeing that you mentioned about booting up from Cd-ROM, i have a question, or a situation, whatever:

My Mobo is An ASusP3B-F(BX chipset), before i usd the bios update, i could boot from the CD-ROM. But after flashing( :o teehee) I dont have the option before:

Does anybody have the same MOBO to confirm this??!?!?!

Thanx
