looks super cool. A schizophrenic protagonist (my fav. type).

2016 for PC and PS4.

Features/
1. Short game playing time
2. Lower price point
3. digital only release
4. developed by 15 people (which is probably more than what valve have working on HL3)
5. No publisher or distributor is attached to the title, it is an independently developed title by ninja theory

PS: Could not find a thread in the PC gaming section, though the game was announced wayy back in 2014.

Hmmm isnt the youtube embedding tag [YT] [/YT]??

Yes. But you don't put the full URL in between the tags.. You just put the unique identifier for the video

Code:
This: [.YT.]FPtK7xvQD2c[./YT.]

Not this: [.yt.]www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPtK7xvQD2c[./yt.]

(without the periods)

How do those features make it a AAA title? Sounds like it will be a cool game, but every one of those feature are like the antithesis of AAA.

The developer seems to think so. I guess production qualities and polish is same as for AAA titles. Thus the monkier "independent AAA" title for this game

Finally something that actually looks next gen, animation cinemtaic wise. Awesome tech.

It's cool that they are trying to innovate the digital capturing of live performances, however the end result definitely isn't as good as the best facial animation in the business. I feel like this is the direction that things need to go though.

Agreed. It definitely has stiff neck syndrome, the actor's performance will always be limited by the camera rig strapped to their head. The face is a bit stiff as well. LA Noire remains the best facial tech I have ever seen in a game, though they had broken neck syndrome, as matching a facial capture to a body motion capture doesn't quite line up.

that is so dang neat. I think sound is one of the final underdeveloped parts of video games, and this one seems to take it up a few notches, combinging elements and really allowing a sense of placement and movement within a soundshpere.
And with 3d positioning built in to pcs now, and not needing a discreet card, and also really good 7.1 headsets, this should be a real treat..
Been watching this one a while now. Hopefully the story and gameplay are adequate as well
