At the end of the clip you can hear the sounds the car will pump in. No car needs sounds like this, this is ridiculous.

Auditory feedback in important in an otherwise silent vehicle.

That being said, I wish I had the option to disable ASD on my Supra without having to resort to Bimmercode.

My S3 had SoundAktor, couldn't disable it fast enough. Car sounds better with the exhaust flaps open than the SoundAktor ever sounded. I do miss the noises when I have a loaner though.

Sure, it's important, but my Hyundai Icon or whatever rental I had a few weeks ago should not sound like an LS7 with open headers when I hit the gas from a stop. It was stupidly distracting and we laughed at it every time.

Allot of car companies have been doing this BS for decades. It was lame when they started doing it, it's just as lame now.

yeah but now they have a reason to actually use a synthetic sound. Before it was dumb as hell cuz all it did was distort the actual engine noise and made it sound like a video game.

Electric cars dont make a sound other than some humming whine, so they can give it anything they want. But of course...they think what people want to hear is some bassy underwater droning sound that sounds like one of those theatre sound test noises.

I like the sound(Im assuming its the sound at the end)

Ive never been a fan of obnoxiously loud cars even if they have the HP to back it up. If I had to choose between a silent car and a loud car with the same power I am going to choose the silent one every time.

It sounds like its from a video game  Chances are engine noise will be pumped in through the speakers like BMWs already so you can most likely code it out and have it silent.
