Google Pixel C - Tablet

So last week I picked up the Google Pixel now I want a matching tablet :)

Currently have a Samsung Tab S that my 6 yo has adopted and recently sold my surface pro 3 to a friend. I then purchased a new XPS 15 loaded to the nuts. I love it but just too big for the plane.

Now to my question -- I did some research, is the Pixel C what I want or is it already dated?

Kinda dated and the use of the nvidia x1 turned me off. I tried the shield tablet and it was battery hungry. I have been looking for a new tablet and ordered an Asus zenpad 3S. It reviewed pretty good and it's only $300.
 
Yea, the Shield is pretty battery hungry but it's hard to beat for the price. Unless you just need a 10" tablet, the Shield (IMO) is the best buy.
 
I picked up a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 w/ S-pen recently and love it. High res screen, incredible battery life, good performance, and all the Note functionality.
 
I'm waiting on a Google tablet, honestly. My Tab S 8.3 is really bogging down even with a bunch of useless crap switched off.
 
Found a slightly used 32GB on Ebay for a good price. Could not justify buying new for the insane price they want.
 
Just got my ZenPad and I'm liking it a lot. It's fast as hell compared to my aging Xperia Tab 2.
