Good Formatting tools?!?

Hey guys, waazsup...

Just wondering what are some good formatting tools, or i should say, what are good ones for me to use in this situation...

Quick overview:
I have 2 HDs
went to duel boot my system with win98se / WIN2K
NOW, i cant formatt one dirve.
IN win 98, it doesnt even detect that driver.
When i install WIN2K (so now ihave both on one disk), it sees the HD, but cant format it. I get this

ERROR:
CAnt finish Formatting HD, cannot format this drive.
?!?!?!?!?

Someone said something about Rdisk, or something....

OR

Is trhe drive out od commission. Its about 3yrs, its a fujitsu 6.1 5400rpm. The other is Quantum 9.1 7400rpm.
 
Try using Xfdisk. I think it is only in German though. I am not sure if there was an english version released :(
