Gamestop, Wall Street and Reddit.

If you bought the AMC dip you would have doubled your money.

AMC I think is way more volatile and dangerous than even GME. I have a feeling its a true pump and dump. Probably see a dive off a cliff like GME did in March.

Considering the company keeps adding/selling more shares to increase cash flow, the big squeeze for them was always a long shot IMO.

I did day trading in AMC about three weeks ago and made a few thousand dollars (usd) and felt all pumped up about it. When it was about $15 a share. Now I feel like a dope and maybe am a dope for not simply leaving it in for the three weeks. Needless to say I've missed out on several $k.

I try to tell myself very few people could've foreseen the near doubling in a single day and the overall spike since mid May.

There is always a would, should, could to trading. Why didn't we all get into GameStop at $4 in March 2020? Why didn't I buy Apple, Amazon, etc.?

Just gotta keep at it and over time the small gains add up. These 300% growth in 6 months or less are bonkers anomalies.

That's the best part of only buying a handful of shares. No worries, all the joy and drive to be THE Ape that sells at the peak.

If these apes think the shares will be in the thousands, then I'm gonna sit tight and see if they're right.

yip... buy and HODL. One day it might be worth millions :D

I don't want to bag hold.:bleh: AMC keeps wanting to sell shares. Is AMC somehow going to be worth $60 in the next 5yrs?

Not a financial advisor, but having 500+ million total shares with a $60 share price would put their market share at $30 billion dollars after not being open due to COVID for about a year.

Their value in 2018, when it was the absolute best box office on record, was like $1.5 billion....

Not that stock price generally reflects actual value. :)

It's overvalued right now. It would be great if people truly fully invested in AMC for 5yrs+. Maybe AMC could offer a new entertainment medium.:bleh: VR has really taken off in the public yet, right?

I feel like I've been to negative in this thread lately, so let me share with you a meme -language btw:

Hint for those unaware of the players: Ken Griffin, the CEO of Citadel. :bleh:

It’s looking like they’ve created a monster that might be getting out of control.

I know it’s costing them a fortune daily.

Good!

I keep buying and will keep buying dips!

I may buy 10 shares of gme on its next bigger dip.

For now I’m loading up on amc and mvis.

This is not financial advice by any means
But from researching indicators show amc further
Dipping to $35 then back to the $120-$135 range.

Good luck to all!

I listened to the CEO interview the other night with Treytrades.
It was while I was watching my kids soccer game so it was sort of hard to pay full attention.

From what I gathered the roughly 11mil and 8mil recent stock sales were from shares already
in the pool and allocated for him and his management staff. They decided to sell the shares and put the revenue back in to the AMC coffers
instead of keeping it for themselves.

He has hinted of wanting an additional 25m shares in 2022 but acknowledged that it is up to retail investors and their vote.
AA went on to mention just because the stocks could be issued in 2022 doesn't meant they'd be used in 2022.

I get it he's a business man and has to run a business still. He has to look at things differently then us.
He also expanded on examples of how the company could expand with extra revenue.
