Going on now for 8th year! I hope it has helped you as it helped me keeping my backlogs in check while enjoying my games.

Not every month someone will be finishing a lot, as there are months where a person just can't finish anything. Then you got that streak going in another month.

Also, if you plan to replay the game, it is fine but don't repeat it at a later month as first completion is what counts.

Another thing is the criteria of what is considered completed in unclear games such as team based multiplayer games; I would say set a target for that. E.g. I considered Overwatch completed when I reached level 100. Or when I finished story mode (which was a long movie sequence) in Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator. You decide what you consider is completed as long as it is reasonable to a certain extend and correlate-able to a single player experience.

DLC completed at a separate time from the main game and has enough content (+1 hour) can be counted as a separate completion.
Console completions can be accepted as long as the main focus is still PC overall.

Completed Games:
761-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023)
762-Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
763-Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics
764-Bramble: The Mountain King
6 -Call of Duty: Vanguard

Earlier than usual but not early enough!

With that said, August seemed to be a good month. Hoping September to be better. I completed 5 games:

761-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023): Did the campaign and some MP. Overall, didn't like it. Bought it on sale and just wanted to be done with it.
762-Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2: This was wild. Played it with 2 other friends who weren't into these kind of shooters (They are competitive players :/). Still managed to control the leash and had a good fun, especially during tough moments. Still continue to play the PvE from time to time.
763-Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics: Finally, the whole collection in one place. Big fan of the Marvel VS series. Replayed through all and played a lot of online matches with friends and randoms.
764-Bramble: The Mountain King: Played this mostly on the Steamdeck. Ran well and is a nice short game with a dark story.
6 -Call of Duty: Vanguard: This was actually more fun, campaign wise, than MW3. Wasn't this considered bad when it was released? Eitherway, I actually enjoyed this campaign. For those curious, that count number is how many games I played on PS5 since the steam version that is STILL in my library wouldn't run as Activison wouldn't patch it years after they brought it to the platform. So this was a burrowed PS5 game from a friend. I still retain the Steam version for collection.

Vox Machinae - Less than great VR Mech game.
Suzerain - More of a narrative game than I expected. Frustrating in the sense that I got to care about what happened but my term in office did not go well.
Dave The Diver - Enjoyable enough though not especially memorable.
Tactical Breach Wizards - MOre puzzle than strategy but a lot of fun with some good writing and fun characters.
Grindstone - Hate to admit how much I've been hooked on this. Having beaten it once I'm most of the way through a new mode run. I will have to delete it when I'm done so I play something else.
Escape From Mystwood Mansion - Decent escape room with some fresh puzzle design.
Dark City International Inrtigue - So-so hidden object game.
Talos Principle II - Not as good as the first one. Good puzzles but I got tired of the story and the megastructure stuff.
Dragon Fist VR Kung Fu - A good workout game though these things always suffer for the lack of tactile feedback in VR.
One Way: The Elevator - short and odd puzzle game.
Feed The Deep - Cosmic horror meets diving. Short but enjoyable.
Duck Detective The Secret Salami - Decent detective game though I felt toward the end tieing the plot up became a bit of guesswork.

12 overall. Something of an epic month and, glad to say, decent games overall which hasn't always been true recently.

7 or 9 games depending on if you count the city that never sleeps as 1 or 3 DLC.

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds
Astro Bot
Super Mario Wonder
Spider-Man
Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps Part 1
Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps Part 2
Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps Part 3
Miles Morales
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

2

Far Cry Primal. Surprised only 34 hours logged into this one. Took me over two years to finish.

Fictorum. Beat it in the two modes I'd previously not beaten it in. And then some.

Just one for me in September: Deathloop.

Deathloop is cool, but I also wouldn't have minded if it had been a little simpler, shorter, to the point. Overall, it's been a while since I've really, really loved a single player game I haven't already loved before.

9 games in September

Star Wars Outlaws, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, In Search Of You, Sumerian Six, Caravan Sandwitch, Children of the Sun, Beauties! They're All After Me, Valiant Hearts: Coming Home, The Talos Principle Road To Gehenna

70+ hours of gaming in September just to completion. Decent month. Outlaws, Sumerian six and Children of the Sun were all very enjoyable. Valiant Hearts 2 was pretty bland sadly.

How do you count completing fighting games? Clearing the game with all characters or unlockables?

List Updated! Great progress so far.

How do you count completing fighting games? Clearing the game with all characters or unlockables?

Usually playing through story mode and/or arcade mode with atleast one character. I ofcourse play the versus mode online and offline quite a bit. Pretty much that. More or less similar to a CoD completion. Ofcourse then you got @KAC who counts MP season play through a completion. Really the idea is your own progress so that you work towards progressing through your backlog and not a competition.

Hope that answers you.

@MNB4800 I forgot one!

Burnout Paradise: Remastered. Not sure what is remastered about it, but got tired of it after about 10 hours and kept going to finish all the (very same-y) races to the Burnout Driving License.

So should be 3 total for me instead of 2. Whenever you next update the list. Thanks in advance. Very truly yours, Crawdaddy79

One.

Also added one in the August thread.

Borderlands: The Presequel: Claptastic Voyage DLC - So, this was a pretty interesting DLC. I'd probably put it up there as one of the better DLCs for Borderlands in general. Just thinking of the BL2 DLCs, I'd put it in the top two or three---definitely below Tiny Tina's, maybe equal or above Mr Torgue's. You go inside Claptrap to try to unlock some data hidden in his memory banks. There are a lot of references to things like Tron and the Matrix. It felt like the developers had some fun when making it and there is some amusing humor related to Claptrap's ability to screw everything up, and his lack of confidence/self-worth. The only bad part about it was that the final boss was ridiculous. It was either badly balanced for co-op, or just badly balanced in general, since it seemed to require just throwing yourself at it in death after death, meanwhile constantly running low on ammo since it was such a bullet sponge. It's a DLC, so not overly long, probably 5 to 6 hours at best. Overall, I'll give it a 7.5/10.
