For the first time in a long time...

Yeah paying interest sucks, especially on a depreciating item that you also have to maintain, fuel, register and insure. What's the interest rate on car loans these days? I know mortgage rates are in the upper 6's so car loans must be worse!

Not just that (i think it seems to be around 8% now...yikes) but people even try to justify having these loans LONGER to get what they cant afford....i mean wtf 84 months/7 years worth of payments? Eff that...you think its worth it to make 7 years worth of car payments???? you do you....

I max out at 5 years/60months. If i cant make the numbers work with that timeframe, I aint getting the car.

And im glad i got my car when i did, Im paying 3.59% @ 60 months, and that isnt really considered a "deal" rate.

Oh and congrats on no more payments! more cash in your pocket :)

I would've been without car debt by April 2023 but my wife managed to convince me to buy a Porsche. Now I will be paying till 2027. FTL.
