Do the insides of eyelids detect photons when people's eyes are closed or not?

To answer your question, eyelids play no role in the detection of photons. The photoreceptor cells in the retina of the eye perform that function.
You’re welcome!

Is this a bot?
The bot is smart enough to know what it doesn't know, and further smart enough to surreptitiously ask humans in the only way it knows, and even further, smart enough to come to Rage3D, in particular, to ask.
? He used a chatbot to write that. Good stuff.
No chatbot here, i was tapping into my inner Matrix for that response
