I have been using the 6155Ci2-LS2000 drivers with no problems until now. When I run EAW all the menu screens are garbled.

I thought that this might be due to DX7 but after reinstalling the LS2000Beta1 drivers the problem went away.

Is there a fix for the 6155 drivers?

System
Win98
128Mb RAM
Rage Fury

Had this problem too, way before DX7 came out. It seems when I install the ATI drivers, EAW is O.K. but the other games get all messed up, so I install the LS drivers, and the other games are O.K. but EAW is messed up... This sound familar??? And believe me, it's getting quit old too ;-(

About ready to go get a G400 max or a TNT2...

Good luck friend,

Vonkjk,

Don't do it here is the answer coutresy of Lightspeed.

Look in the Direct3D tab and disable Primary, this cures the problem.

Thanks mark, I'll try it ;-)

BTW, The wife would have to O.K. a new video card anyway...or would she? LOL

Mark,

Went to display properties, looked up D3D. I do not see a disable primary here, only vertical vsync, palette, and anti-aliasing

Am I in the wrong place? or what?

Thanks,

Von

Stop over to Rage Underground and get the Rage128 Tweaker 1.2. You can disable it there along with many other tweaks and changes.
hope this helps,
