Which player gives you the best image on the Radeon 8500, i used to use MediaPlayer but for some odd reason it streaches the image to fullscreen nomather what...stup1d player, so yestoday i tried bsplayer...it was good and the image ratio was correct, but i looked like the imageQ was worsw.
so i ask you now, which are youre favorite and why...

and damned, why couldt i be nr.1 to post:evil:

I just register the codec and use ATI fileplayer. It's free, and gives a great picture in high-bitrate Divx's.

BS Player is definately one of the best (if not the best) movie player!

It has the lowest cpu usage (proven by multiple independant tests), supports all subtitle formats, nice skins and lots of extra features (like AC3 output settings and LIRC remote control).

bsplayer

bsplayer

is it just me, or? i had a friend over, we saw a film and we had to stop it in the middle to go get pizza, after we started it again in MediaPlayer (which is still fu3ked up! - if anybody now how make it show the normal image aspect - please do tell) the sync was off, so i startet bsplayer - which i heard should be the best - in regards to sync problems.
and it was no problems - but my friend asked me, if i also thought the the IQ was worse, and i did.
its not by much, but if two people sees it the same night - i dont know....

btw - is ac3 only available with s/pdif, or is it possible with normal jack-connected 5.1?

I use winamp with NiceMC for viewing videos on my computer, but when I use my tv-out PowerDVD ALWAYS, nothing else compares for audio/video quality
and I've tried almost everything, including zoomplayer, ultraplyer, wmp, theplaya, etc etc etc etc

I just installed and tried it, your right it is very nice, but it seems the developer has stopped working on it?
if so, very unfortunate.
