Disables my mouse - too much radio?

Remote wonder seems to pointer control for my Logitech optical wireless mouse!

IS this radio interference or some settings that are wrong? Do I have too much wireless stuff and remotes going on?

Help appreciated. My setup:

AIW Radeon 8500 dv
AMD XP 2000+, 512 RAM etc
Logitech optical wireless mouse and keyboard
802.11b
Soundblaster Audigy Plat.(comes with IR mouse)
Windows XP pro

OK, the problem is that remote wonder DISABLES pointer control with my logitech wireless optical mouse.

And of course the Audigy platinum comes with IR remote (not mouse!)

-Thanks,
IBAndreas

Very unlikely - the ATI Remote Wonder is NOT a mouse driver, instead it injects Mouse Move requests into the system to "nudge" the mouse around the screen.

There must be something else going on here (I am not saying the Remote Wonder is not involved, just that it is not "disabling" your IR mouse per se).

nawww, I have 3 2.4 ghz wireless "appliances" hooked up to my computer, not including the 2.4ghz wireless router sitting next to it, and I have no problems with interference of any kind. IR and Radio are completely different frequencies, and hardware made to use one should not even "hear" other frequencies. I'd say that you should check your batteries, and that your usb ports are supplying enough power...

I'm not certain what the problem you're experiencing is. Is it that the mouse pointer/cursor will not move at all with the Remote Wonder installed, or is it that the Remote Wonder or the wireless mouse won't move it? If there are others very nearby (neighbours) who also have Remote Wonders this can cause interferance - there's a way of getting around that though. To avoid conflicts with other Remote Wonders just change the channel it operates on by using this option in its software as explained here: http://www.ati.com/support/infobase/4028.html

If the problem is just that your wireless mouse has stopped working on the Remote Wonder equipped PC, try testing the mouse out on another PC.
