Digital Cable or Sat?

I want to get one "again." I had cable for awhile then got read of it. But now I want something back. So, which should I get, digital cable or a sat service? I am kinda leaning towards sat cause I think I can get it for cheaper but I'm not 100% sure of that. Any suggestions?

If you live anywhere near me (LA area) avoid Digital Cable like the plague, AT&T's equiptment has been in a constant state of upgrade for 6 months now, and half the time you cannot watch a full 30 minute program without losing 5 minutes of it due to signal degradation and it greaking up all over the place. Not worth the money I spent on it for those 6 months, went back to regular cable and am happy again. Mom has satallite and likes it, but doesn't like having to pay for broadcast channels.

Howdy, neighbor (I also live in the LA area.) You might want to stick with satellite for a while and see if you like it, and if it doesn't fit your budget, you might as well be stuck with digital cable instead.
