Deathloop - If At First You Don’t Succeed... Die, Die Again

Dis is on my wish list for now until probably a sale cos I'll be knee deep in Death Stranding.

You dont have to enjoy a game to see its top quality. Just like you can enjoy playing a crappy game, or watching a **** movie. They are mutually exclusive.

I never said they were bad games/bad quality.. they just aren't for me.

I think I will indulge in death loop though.
 
Watched 2 10/10 reviews and still don’t understand why it is 10/10. I hate replaying sections of games (basically Metroid/rogue) so definitely doesn’t seem exciting for me. Also 8 targets is less than Hitman 6 chapter games. Also don’t like the art style as well.

Maybe a 5 dolla pickup or game pass it since most Aspyr games do come to game pass.

Seems like a niche game that will probably flop.

It'll probably be closer to The Forgotten City (link) where even though you're playing the same day over and over it gets more and more interesting as the information you learn from previous loops gives you the insight to solve the quests in the game using different methods and achieving different outcomes.

That game had a fantastic method of preventing the annoyance of "replying sections", as there is an NPC whom you can instruct at the start of each 'loop' to cover the ground for activities you've already done)
 
I will check out forgotten city - added to my wishlist.
But will wait on this one. I bought into the hype with Dishonored and Prey games and just killed everyone in dishonored and never made much effort in Prey. Not my cup of tea usually.
 
You launch it on GOG that opens Epic that opens Steam that opens Uconnect that opens Origin that opens Beth launcher that opens Xbox game pass. :bleh:
 
Friend got it, confirmed what other people writing in reviews. Seems like there's really bad microstuttering due to denuvo and whatever else. Console versions aren't exhibiting such problems, ugh ****ing DRM.

It's not a case of people not realizing that the highest settings are way above what the ps5 is capable of?
 
it already got patched, i dunno what problem some people still seem to have. Only minor prob i encountered was microstuttering which also went away with recent drivers.
 
They fixed it? Bah, I was going to post a smartarse joke about how the Die, Die in the thread title was due to stutter. :bleh:
