You have to have original HL? I have 2 retail versions of Halflife CS, and the Halflife CD that comes with the ATI Radeon 8500 card. None will allow Day of Deafeat to work. ? Thanks.
 
You need half life patched to the latest version, including the ati_fix patch, and then install dod 2.0 afterwords.
 
you should have no problem installing DoD on retail copies of CS or TF. Just make sure you have the latest version of CS before you try to isntall.
 
I do have the latest version of CS. :(. When I install it, it asks for the Halflife directory, but since I dont have one, it defaulted just to "C:/", I then clicked browse and went to the CS directory where I installed it all. Did not work. :(.
 
Then your downloading the wrong patch maybe. There's a CS retail patch and a CS mod patch. You want the retail one :)
