Crimson and detecting installed games

Why won't Crimson detect my Origin and Uplay games?

Is AMD in bed with Steam or something? lol

But seriously, only my Steam games are being detected, I don't get it

It's a pain in the ass to have to add them manually every time I install new drivers (after using DDU).

Maybe it just searches the registry for known entries? So if you have games pre-installed on another drive and then format/re-install windows those games cannot be detected by crimson as they are not in the windows registry?

We should have the ability to specify what locations it uses when looking for games :yep:

Yeah, I agree with you on that!

Maybe AMD should have a feature request form somewhere, either in the software or on their webpage. =)

Agreed, having the ability to set custom directories would be a big plus.

Thing is though, Crimson is detecting my Steam libraries across 5 hard drives
(C, D, E, F, and G) but not detecting Origin and Uplay both of which are on my D drive.

I find that weird.

I just did a quick check on this...as I don't really depend on AMD's settings for my games. But, it appears that the ones that are detected are the ones I've created a shortcut on the desktop.

And, those are both Steam and U-Play games....but only the ones with the shortcut.

And in true fashion I have the opposite no icons anywhere on my desktop for games and it still only detects certain games.
