Computer not working

I have an e-machines computer with a Windows XP SP2 operating system.
AMD Athlon XP 3200+ 2.2 Ghz
My card is an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, and for some reason it stopped working.
The symptoms:
When the computer is starting up and the XP loads it restarts and takes me to a screen that gives me options of "safe mode", "safe mode with networking", and "safe mode with command interface". I reset my computer but when it loads it restarts itself and takes me to the same black screen. I am only able to run it in safe mode and it's really annoying.
Help?:hmm:
Tried everything. (Looked everywhere for the reboot discs but my house was cleaned a few months back and I think it might've been thrown away on accident)
 
Well..

First you should try going into safe mode (because you mention you can get to that), and use the System Restore to go back to a date where your machine was working properly.

Then, maybe someone can move this thread to a more appropriate location.
